Customise Your Lesson

Customisation is our speciality...

At Spanish Language Institute, we believe in the importance of offering our students world-class language instruction while affording them the opportunity to do so at their own time.

Through our customised 1:1, 2:1 and Group Lessons, any student can choose their own curriculum and speed while paying the most competitive price on the market.  It’s time language institutions understand the learning needs of their students – and our customised learning platform does this.

Not in Prague? Not to worry.  Our customised lessons can also be offered online via Skype.  Currently, we offer online lessons to dozens of students that span across three continents and four time zones.  Distance has now become obsolete when learning a new language!

How do you book a customised lesson?

1. View our lesson options

You can select a customised lesson from either our: 1:1 private lesson, 2:1 semi-private lesson, or custom group-sized lessons. Please note that our custom group lessons are reserved for 3 - 8 students.

2. Onsite or Online Lessons?

Learning in class is cool…but so is learning from bed!

3. Select your desired lesson-type

After making your desired selection, you will be brought to the final booking page. Simply create an SLI Account by filling out all requested information.

4. Fulfil payment and you're done!

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, direct bank transfer and cash. Please understand that registration will be complete solely upon SLI's receipt of payment.

I’ve already registered for a private lesson but my friend wants to join me for future lessons. How can we switch to a 2:1 lesson plan?

Simply let us know when you would like to switch to a 2:1 (or even 3-8:1) lesson type.  The more the merrier! You will be refunded any necessary money should your lesson switch result in a cheaper payment plan.  Vice versa should you choose to switch from a larger lesson plan (group or semi-private) to a 1:1 private lesson plan.

The number of friends in our group lesson has changed. Is this okay?

Of course! You will be refunded any necessary money should your group change result in a cheaper payment plan (shifting from a Tier 1 to a Tier 2 or Tier 3).  Vice versa should your friends group result in a smaller group plan (shifting from a Tier 3 or Tier 2 to a Tier 1).

What’s your policy for rescheduling if I’m sick or unable to attend my customised lesson?

Simply let us know at least 24 hours in advance if you will not be able to attend your lesson.  Unfortunately, if you notify us inside of the 24 hour window, we will be unable to provide any compensation in the form of a rescheduled lesson.

I’ve registered for your custom lesson but I’ve realised that your scheduled courses are more helpful. Can I switch?

Of course! Let us know what course you would like to attend and we will be sure to award any refund if applicable.

My friend can’t attend today’s 2:1 lesson so it’s just me. Does this mean I have to pay extra as it’s technically a “private”, 1:1 lesson?

This can also apply to any custom group lesson.  Under our refund policy we ask that you notify us within 24 hours of your lesson if you are unable to attend.  We will not expect you to pay extra should your friend cancel on a 2:1 lesson.  However, if this becomes a consistent pattern we may recommend a change in lesson type.

What are my payment options?

We currently accept payment in four methods: cash, bank transfer, PayPal, or credit/debit card.  You can find these options in the booking window after you select your desired courses/lessons and proceed to the checkout window.  For payment in credit/debit card, follow the checkout procedure as if you were paying via PayPal. When prompted, click on the “Pay with credit/debit card” button instead of creating a PayPal account.
